General & Studio Overview
StudioFeative Studios is a specialized game development and XR co-development studio. We partner primarily with AA studios, high-end indie developers, enterprise clients, and visionaries looking to scale their interactive projects without inflating internal headcount.
Our team provides full-cycle game development, staff augmentation, 3D asset pipelines, spatial AR/VR engineering, metaverse world building, and interactive digital twins.
Feative Studios is incorporated in Kalispell, Montana, USA (1001 S Main St, Ste 500) with a global, remote-first team of 25+ game engineers, senior 3D artists, technical animators, and project managers spanning North America, Europe, and Asia. This enables seamless time zone overlap across US, European, and Asian working hours.
We pride ourselves on agility and rapid response. Once scope requirements or team profiles are agreed upon, dedicated team members can onboard and begin sprint execution within 3 to 7 business days.
Our initial response to all technical inquiries and project estimate requests is guaranteed within 24 hours.
To date, Feative Studios has successfully delivered over 30+ interactive game and XR projects across Steam, PC, Mobile, WebGL, and VR platforms. We maintain a 95%+ client satisfaction rating with a high rate of repeat milestone partnerships.

Game Development & Tech Stack
EngineeringWe work fluently across industry-standard real-time engines and custom codebases:
- Unreal Engine 4 & 5: C++, Blueprints, Chaos Physics, Nanite, Lumen, Mass Entity System, and custom C++ plugins.
- Unity Engine: C#, Universal Render Pipeline (URP), High Definition Render Pipeline (HDRP), Burst Compiler, DOTS/ECS, and Netcode for GameObjects.
- Godot Engine: GDScript, C#, lightweight 2D & 3D game engines.
- Web & Cloud: Three.js, WebGL, Node.js, Python, and Unreal Engine Pixel Streaming for cloud rendering.
We accommodate both collaboration formats:
- Full-Cycle End-to-End Build: We take your GDD (Game Design Document) or high-level concept through pre-production, prototyping, core engineering, art, UI/UX, sound design, QA testing, and launch.
- Milestone & Subsystem Co-Dev: We plug into existing Perforce or Git repositories to own specific modules—such as multiplayer netcode, AI behaviors, UI refactoring, or graphics optimization.
Performance optimization is built into our engineering workflow from day one, not treated as an afterthought before submission. We profile draw calls, CPU bottlenecks, memory allocation, shader complexity, and GPU frametimes using Unreal Insights, Unity Profiler, RenderDoc, and PIX.
We set strict draw call budgets, LOD transitions, texture compression settings, and occlusion culling parameters to ensure consistent target framerates (60 FPS / 120 FPS on target hardware).
We build multi-platform titles targeting Windows PC (Steam, Epic Games Store), macOS, iOS, Android, WebGL, Meta Quest (2/3/Pro), HTC Vive, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch.
AR / VR & Metaverse
Spatial ComputingPixel Streaming renders your high-fidelity Unreal Engine 5 application on cloud GPU servers (AWS, Azure, or private cloud) and streams the live video feed directly to any WebRTC-enabled browser on PC, tablet, or smartphone.
This allows users to experience photorealistic 3D metaverse worlds, architectural visualizations, or product configurators instantly without downloading massive files or needing a local gaming GPU. Learn more in our Pixel Streaming Case Study.
We build native and cross-platform spatial applications for Meta Quest 2 / 3 / Pro, Apple Vision Pro, HTC Vive, Pico 4, and Magic Leap using OpenXR, Meta XR All-in-One SDK, ARCore, and ARKit.
Our XR portfolio includes room-scale VR simulations, industrial safety training, medical visualization, and interactive AR mobile apps.
A Digital Twin is a photorealistic, real-time 3D replica of a physical environment (such as a factory, building, smart city, or campus) connected to live data feeds, IoT sensors, or simulation engines.
It empowers stakeholders to monitor operations remotely, run predictive simulations, train staff safely, and present architectural designs to clients before breaking ground.
3D Art & Asset Pipeline
Art & DesignOur art department covers the entire visual production pipeline:
- 3D Character & Creature Art: High-poly ZBrush sculpting, clean game topology (retopology), UV unwrapping, and PBR texturing in Substance Painter.
- Environment & Prop Art: Modular building kits, foliage, hard-surface props, Nanite-ready high-detail geometry, and trim sheets.
- Rigging & Animation: Full-body character rigs, face control rigs, keyframe animation, and Mocap cleanup.
- Concept & Art Direction: Keyart, character concept art, environment moodboards, and UI/UX design.
Every asset undergoes rigorous internal QA before delivery. We verify polygon budgets, vertex counts, texture map consistency (Albedo, Normal, Roughness, Metallic, AO), collision meshes, pivot placement, scale accuracy, and material assignment directly inside Unreal Engine or Unity.
We deliver raw source files (.blend, .ma/.mb, .ztl, .spp) alongside engine-ready exports (.fbx, .obj, .gltf/.glb, .usd/.usda) plus configured engine packages (Unreal .uasset / Unity .prefab).
Pricing & Contracts
BusinessWe offer two transparent pricing structures tailored to your studio's needs:
- Fixed-Price Scoped Milestone Build: Best for well-defined features, vertical slices, or standalone projects. We provide a detailed scope break-down with fixed milestone delivery dates and costs.
- Dedicated Staff Augmentation: Senior developers or artists join your team on a monthly retainer basis, integrated directly into your Slack, Jira, and daily standups.
You can use our interactive Project Cost Estimator to get an instant realistic timeline and team breakdown for your project.
You retain 100% ownership of all intellectual property, source code, repositories, custom shaders, 3D models, textures, animations, and documentation upon project completion and payment.
We execute comprehensive Master Services Agreements (MSA) and Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) prior to receiving any sensitive project documentation or codebases.
For milestone builds, payments are tied directly to agreed delivery milestones (e.g., initial deposit, alpha build review, final milestone acceptance). For staff augmentation, invoices are processed bi-weekly or monthly based on agreed hourly or monthly developer rates.
Workflow & Communication
CollaborationWe seamlessly embed into your studio's preferred communication and project management toolset:
- Instant Chat: Dedicated Slack channels, Discord servers, or Microsoft Teams.
- Task Tracking: Jira, Trello, Asana, or ClickUp for sprint task management.
- Version Control: Perforce Helix Core, Git / GitHub / GitLab, or Plastic SCM.
- Syncs & Demos: Weekly sprint reviews, daily async check-ins, or live video demos.
We work with an agile mindset. Every milestone includes allocated revision rounds to ensure deliverables match your creative direction. If major scope expansion is requested mid-sprint, our project lead provides an immediate impact estimate (timeline/budget change request) for your approval before work begins.
Yes. Following game launch, we provide ongoing maintenance packages including hotfix patches, platform updates, content expansion drops, server monitoring, and Live-Ops support to keep your community engaged.
